Members of HCAO-RV hold up the “Sing Out For Singer Payer” banner which advertised Anne Feeney’s SP Healthcare tour stop in Ashland July 7, 2009.

Health Care for All Oregon (HCAO) is a coalition of more than eighty organizations which represent labor, businesses, health care professionals, faith communities, other allied groups, and individual citizen activists from around the state.

HCAO-Rogue Valley holds its general membership meeting the first Sunday of each month at the OEA Building across from the Grange Coop retail outlet on S. Pacific Hwy – at 3 PM from October to April, and at 5 PM from May to September.  HCAO-RV  represents Jackson and Josephine Counties in southern Oregon, although a Josephine Co.  chapter is currently in the process of  forming.

HCAO is working to create a comprehensive, equitable, publicly funded, high-quality, universal health care system serving everyone in Oregon, while supporting the development of allied organizations in other states.

Like police and fire protection, good school and clean water, health care is something we all need. Until we all have access to high-quality care, we aren’t living up to our American ideal of a just society.
